Sunrise pre wedding shoot, Fletcher Moss Park | Manchester, Hindu Wedding Photographers

We often talk about the golden hour, which is the last hour before sunset and the hour following sunrise, because of it’s beautiful soft, warm light and so is our favourite time of the day to shoot. When you book your wedding photography with us we will talk to you about planning a short couple shoot in the evening on your wedding day to make the most of the gorgeous light and if you are lucky too, catch a stunning sunset!

We have seen many a good sunset on a wedding day but we have always wanted to try a sunrise shoot. We just needed a couple willing to get up super early to catch it! So as soon as Preyash & Bhavika suggested it for their pre wedding shoot, ahead of their Hindu wedding day, we couldn't wait to plan it in!

We early met on a fresh spring morning at Fletcher Moss park in Didsbury, south Manchester,  a location we knew would be perfect for sunrise with its epic tall trees and spring cherry blossom. It certainly didn't disappoint! The park was deserted, as you would expect for that hour, so we had the whole park to ourselves. It was beautifully peaceful and Preyash & Bhavika were treated to a stunning sunrise. You can see how much the light changes throughout the shoot, from cool and misty to beautifully warm and golden, definitely worth the frosty feet (sorry Bhavika!) and super early 5am meet up!

We then headed to a local coffee shop to warm up our toes and chat about their exciting plans for their two day Hindu wedding. Day one would be the Hindu ceremony at the Gujarat Hindu Society in Preston and day two would be a celebration at Stockport town hall. We cannot wait!
