We have another amazing wedding preview for you! Charlotte and Martin married on Saturday in a beautiful ceremony at St Michael's church in Middleton then headed to Bellavista restaurant in Rochdale for their reception.
We experienced a full range of weather on their day from Lancashire thunderstorms to Mediterranean-like sunshine, even hailstones at one point! But it didn't phase them and we stopped off at Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club for a couple shoot, a place filled with fond memories for Charlotte’s family. Martin, who loves storms was delighted to hear thunder rolling in and to have a dramatic sky for a backdrop for their photos by the lake.
“More is More” was Charlotte's motto for the wedding, just check out how much confetti there was! Their wedding was packed with personality, it was clear how much both Charlotte and Martin were invested in the details of their day . And it didn’t stop there as there was also lots of help from friends and family, Charlotte's mum did all the flowers herself (and of course there were a lot of them too!) and her dad hand crafted a sweet ferris wheel and mirror photo booth. There were plenty of retro vibes from the vintage VW campervan from I Do Campers to the fifties inspired bridesmaids' dresses from Pretty Kitty fashion.
Charlotte looked stunning in her Sophia Tolli dress teamed with a stunning lace cape from Vintage Lane Bridal. Music is an important part of their lives, they chose a cover of a Box Car Racer song as their first dance, then partied the night away to their friend's band Champagne Skies.
We felt so welcomed at this wedding it was like we were guests ourselves, we can’t wait to show you more soon!
